Ana Schoutens
Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant
Ana Schoutens is currently completing her Bachelor of Arts in Linguistics and Learning and Developmental Disabilities at Simon Fraser University. Her academic studies, combined with meaningful hands-on experience, have shaped her passion for supporting children in their communication and overall development. She aspires to become a Speech Language Pathologist
in the future and is committed to continuing her growth and learning within the field.
Ana brings over three years of experience working with children in a variety of roles, including as a recreation leader, nanny, and ski instructor teaching neurodiverse individuals through her CADS Level 1 certification. Through these experiences, she has developed strong skills in creating engaging, supportive, and inclusive environments that foster growth and confidence.
Ana primarily works with children between the ages of 1-8 and has special interests in articulation, AAC, autism, and fluency. She is passionate about helping children build effective communication skills while supporting families throughout the therapy process.
Outside of her professional work, Ana enjoys playing soccer, practicing yoga, going to the gym, and creating art. She values balance, connection, and building positive relationships in both her personal and professional life.
Ana is dedicated to providing compassionate, individualized support and looks forward to continuing to expand her knowledge and experience in speech language pathology.
