Danielle Busayong

About Me

Dani received her Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of British Columbia. She has experience working with a diverse set of clients and needs, including Autism, Childhood Apraxia of Speech, Developmental Language Disorders, Speech Sound Disorders, and Alternative and Augmentative communication (AAC). ​
 

Dani is RASP certified and has additional training with parent coaching for families with Autistic children through the PLAY Project.

Dani believes building a connection always comes first in therapy, and loves creating long-lasting connections with the children and families she works with. She advocates for the use of multiple, intersecting approaches to therapy, including a neurodiversity-affirming, culturally responsive, play-based, and family-centered lens.

Dani is dedicated to advocacy and has a particular interest for Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Access (IDEA) in healthcare. She served as the Director-Student for Speech-Language and Audiology Canada (SAC) to advocate for student's IDEA needs.
